We had the absolute pleasure of working with Hive Homes and honestly can’t recommend them enough. From start to finish, they made the entire building process feel smooth and stress-free, with incredible communication at every stage. As a small, local, mom-and-pop business, they treated us like family, making sure we felt valued throughout the process. Unlike bigger companies, we never felt like just another client - Hive Homes genuinely cares about the people they work with.
What really stood out to us was their attention to detail and how they consistently checked in, both during and after the build, to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The team was always professional, punctual, and approachable—people we could easily imagine sharing a meal or a drink with. They were also very considerate of our budget, offering helpful tips and creative solutions to make things work without compromising on quality.
There were a couple of small hiccups along the way, which we’d like to mention as constructive feedback for next time. One issue was the driveway, which didn’t extend all the way as we had anticipated. While the work itself was excellent, clearer communication about the scope of the driveway would have helped us avoid any surprises. Another challenge was a mix-up with the oven. Both of us were responsible for that one, and it’s something that could have been addressed more clearly on both sides.
That said, these minor issues didn’t overshadow the fantastic experience we had. Hive Homes was always quick to work with us to find solutions and make sure we were happy with the final result. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt cared for throughout the entire build, and their personal touch made all the difference.
